| NesNet’s managing director Lárus Þór Pálmason qualified as a netmaker as a young man and since then has behind him more that 30 years of experience as a netmaker as well as running net lofts, being involved in the sales side of the business and finally as a lecturer in fishing gear technology.

| Hördur Jónsson has been a netmaker since he started his apprenticeship with Jón Holbergsson in 1970. He was as seaman from 1982 to 1987, when he came ashore to take over the Thorbjörn fishing company’s net loft.
